drawDB turns a database schema into a diagram you can understand. In this lesson, we will build a small project tracker in PostgreSQL and export the SQL. Start with two tables. Users stores an ID and a name. Projects stores an ID, an owner ID, and a title. Each table has a primary key. The owner ID references the user ID. That foreign key creates a relationship: one user can own many projects. Choose PostgreSQL, open File, then Import from SQL, and upload the sample schema. Both tables and their connection appear on the canvas. Open Export SQL to inspect the table statements and the foreign key, then save the generated file. JARVIS recorded this real workflow, retained the SQL export, and added this editable lesson. drawDB diagrams schemas; it does not run your production database.
